Super cake mix sale going on right now at Safeway! Betty Crocker cake mix is just $.69 each if you buy 4 and icing is 2/$3. Plus, I had three coupons for Betty Crocker products ($.75, $.50, and $.50) which all scanned. Grand total: $7.01. That's 96 cupcakes for less than a dozen at your local bakery.
I love using "Cake Mix Doctor" type recipes to dress up these plain mixes. Anyone have a good one for carrot cake mix and cream cheese frosting? I'd love to know!

ReplyDeleteDo you know about shortcuts.com and cellfire.com? They often have electronic coupons that come off in addition to your printed coupons. You can link the electronic coupons to your Safeway card.

Yes -- I used the Shortcuts coupon on my card for one of the coupons I mentioned above.
