If my budget allowed, I would have vases of fresh flowers in every room of the house. Who doesn't love gerber daises in a bunch with a ribbon tied around the vase or some hydrangeas arranged in a low bowl? But since I don't really have a fresh flowers column in my current budget, I have to improvise. Currently, my fave no cost centerpiece is artfully arranged fruit. You've got beauty on your table and your three o'clock snack all in one. Ta da!
